@abmarkman D, then I'd fix up my home. I scrimped, saved & sacrificed for a place to call my own. The rest I'd start a charity for helping vets get the home repairs they need. My homes previous owner was a vet with no electric, plumbing or floors in most rooms. No vet should live like that.
