NEW: The Hendricks County coroner officially releases the names of the couple killed in Danville yesterday.

Laura Branagin was 52 years old and was found dead in the yard of her home. Her husband 51-year-old Brian Branagin was shot by police after they say he pointed a rifle at them.

Family members tell me they called 911 for a welfare check concerned for Laura's safety after they could not reach her. Laura goes by Ellie and was a nurse practitioner and co-owner of a wellness clinic in Brownsburg.
Police say they are not releasing any other details as the investigation continues
