Plenty of people will relate to @McCarthyMick here!
After a pregnancy scan today I returned to my car clamped at 13:05 despite parking paid til 13:11. Had to pay β¬125 and wait for 45 mins for for release and now must wait 21 days for appeal! Unhelpful on helpline... Absolute disgrace.. @APCOAConnectIE
@MariaCorrigan3 Agree that any other health professional group such as nurses or doctors would take industrial action. I contacted @forsa_union_ie and they said there was nothing they could do.. not good enough
@MariaCorrigan3 There should be industrial action in relation to panels but also for all of us on SPC contracts who were on the 2016 panel and are now ineligible for any permanent posts.. which is in clear contradiction of the HSE's own policy on implementing the Fixed term working Act!!
It was with utter rage today I learned of @HSE_HR plans to run a campaign for a national Senior OT panel. It beggars considering 92% on HSCPs feel the system does not work and 86% believe it is unfair. We cannot allow this to happen AGAIN!! # panelnotfit @forsa_union_ie
@corry_marie@HSE_HR@forsa_union_ie I have been deemed ineligible for applying for permanent posts. completele contradiction of the Protection of Employees Act 2003. numerous attempts to contact HR since January, not even an acknowledgement of my emails. Forsa haven't replied either. Time for a new union!
@corry_marie@HSE_HR@forsa_union_ie So true Marie I was on the 2016 panel which was disbanded. Currently on an SPC contract for 3.5 years, i have recently been excluded from the ability to apply for regional campaign for permanent posts with the possibility of my own job being made permanent.
@GayleCorry Appalling that while we all continue to work througout this global pandemic as healthcare workers we have to fight to even get a response from HSE Hr and fight to get them to just uphold basic contract law, not mention set up a fair and equitable recruitment process
@GayleCorry Gayle I'm in same position as you but after numerous unreplied emails to HR and Liaison with WRC they directed me to the Protection of Employees (fixed term working) Act 2003 after 4 years you are eligible for contract of indefinite duration.
