Reports said the conditions to make Garnacho to Aston Villa obligation was very easy.
Are Chelsea sure they made it extremely as easy as this? We might not get our money....
I was wrong in my post last year (below).
The ultimate parent of Chelsea, 22 Holdco Ltd, didn’t end up hitting accumulated losses of £1.5bn in the 3 years of ownership to June 2025 - they were actually £1.8bn.
Losing an average of £600m a year.
After 3 years, BlueCo has injected £1.5bn of cash into Chelsea alone. But the club valuation had not increased and neither had the squad valuation (per Transfermarkt).
£1.5bn poured down the drain on a £2.5bn “asset” in just 3 years.
But yeh, I’m the crazy one for thinking they’re a ticking time-bomb 🤪
£117m is a lot for Morgan Rogers. But in some ways it's a premium for last season, and finishing 10th. They need to show they are going to be competitive, that they will back their new manager, and reassure their star players about their direction of travel. Bringing in a close mate of Cole Palmer has upsides. Rogers: "He’s non-stop ringing my phone, texting me, and I can’t wait. I think that’s probably the most special thing, playing with one of your best friends and being around him every day. It’s something I’m really excited about."

N'Golo Kanté a visiblement un problème avec Mbappé Mobutu. 😅
Conséquence: Zéro minute disputée pendant toute la Coupe du Monde… C'est quand même cruel. 💔😂
Enzo tried to score from long range, some were off target, some were saved or blocked but he kept going till he finally got one in. When you feel like quitting, think about this. 💙
