We can’t always fix our circumstances, but we can fix our eyes on God.
And one of the best ways to begin is simply by lifting up gratitude-filled prayers. Each thing we verbalize our thankfulness for is like a stepping stone out of the pit of discouragement in our lives.
Please, Lord, save us from go-to-church-on-Sunday religion. The hour is too late, the devil is doing too much. Transform our hearts & minds so we’re like you. How will the world know what you’re like if we don’t spend time with you & then act like you because we’ve been with you?
If we can just learn this one thing during #COVID19
We can’t truly grow spiritually if all we ever do is attend church services occasionally.
We need real friends. We need relationships with other families, marked by trust, vulnerability, and closeness.
I often want to immediately see the good that God promises, but sometimes God’s good answer is “not yet.” There is a timing to everything.
Even when we don't understand, we can trust that God is always true, trustworthy, and on time.
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

Remember to take care of the people to the left and to the right of you. Leadership is taking responsibility for the people around us. #BeTheLeader#ImpactTheory
Are you recognizing the Source? Are you thanking God for every good thing? The more you acknowledge God’s goodness, the more of His goodness you will see.
It would be a mistake for us in Christian circles to disregard the warnings about large gatherings. If the thought is, “We’re the church. We’ll do whatever we please & God will protect us,” He does not protect the proud. He opposes them. We are not snake handlers. We’re servants.
Remember, today has an assignment. So, let's do that well. But don't try to also cram in tomorrow's assignment and steal today's joy.
A constantly stressed-out servant of Jesus isn't nearly as effective as a joyful one.
One day at a time.
Hold fast to the joy in the journey.
Some people will find fault, try to discredit you, think you’re missing it. That’s okay. No one that’s ever done anything great has done it without opposition, without critics, without people thinking they were off course.
Just because you don't see the harvest doesn't mean the seed didn't take root. If God met all of your expectations, He'd never have a chance to exceed them!
The scripture says, “What you do in secret, God will reward in the open.” Don’t worry if you’re not getting credit. Don’t get discouraged if people don’t thank you. God sees your sacrifice.
Start dreaming again, start looking for new opportunities, start declaring God’s favor, start praying bold prayers. There is greatness in you, there are dreams in you, there are new levels, all they need is to be stirred up.
Don’t judge your future by where you are right now. Don’t let the circumstances convince you that you’ve seen your best days. You wouldn’t be here if God didn’t have something amazing in front of you.
