Completed my 20 kms #walktoendALS this morning in honour of my dad, Phonse Jesso, who passed away from it in 2019. A cruel disease that has no cure or test (just process of elimination). Let’s change that!! #newfoundlandandlabrador#nlwx
@ALSCanada@JohnBrassardCPC Ty!! I’m doing my own personal #walktoendALS on Saturday in honour of my dad (2019) in Stephenville, NL. Aiming for 20 kms and use the time for peaceful reflection & chats with Dad ❤️ Please God a cure/test is discovered to save people from this cruel disease. 🙏🙏
@SlangsOnSports Doing my annual personal #walktoendALS in honour of my dad (2019) this Saturday. Have a 20 km route mapped out. Will spend a lot of time reflecting my time with dad and hoping for a cure. Thank you for all you do to promote awareness and share lived experiences. 💙
@FAN590@SNJeffBlair No hustling, “admiring a hit” before getting out of the box, challenging calls in the first inning, chewing that garbage (should be banned from the MLB)! GREAT first baseman - no one can take that from him, but he is being coddled & there are $500M reasons things need to change.
@raptor10340 FACTS! He said what everyone is thinking. There is more life in a turnip than in that dugout. It is a bad news bears situation. They need to be pumped when they walk on that field. Hopefully they find it before it is too late in the season.
@ShiDavidi Beautiful story about such a tragic and cruel disease. Liked Tommy Nance before and now even more. Lost my dad to it nearly seven years ago - a proud, active man who also was a baseball pitcher (local hall of famer). Doing my personal annual #walktoendALS this coming weekend 💙
@TodayJays Makes me sad that they minimized his playing time bc there’s a leftie on the mound or put in cold in the 8th expecting miracles … they set him up for failure. Buffalo will be a reset for him like before … like any craft/talent, you still need to be always using it Go Jays 🇨🇦
@DannySpxp It is Thursday night NY game - top of the third … really hard to hear @SiddallJoe ‘s mic - you are coming in fine … really enjoy your commentary… thought you would want to know - watching from Newfoundland and Labrador 🇨🇦🇨🇦
@KeeganMatheson It’s funny that people will forgive him for a slump yet when others are going through it they are crap players who need to go. They will ALL have rollercoaster rides, we just need to ride it out and those who find their way will emerge (before post-season please)lol Go Jays! 🇨🇦
@ArdenZwelling It will be interesting what will happen in the roster once the injured are back on deck … some tough decisions in the future! Go Jays! 🇨🇦🇨🇦
@TylerEffect04@BlueJays@TD_Canada We were chatting about him this morning & how he really needs to be played on a more consistent basis rather than just thrown in because there’s a leftie on the mound. I think he’s shown that he is a utility player & can do the job whenever he’s needed… Go Babe & Go Jays 🇨🇦
