Family favorite is pork and beans on top of potato salad. Mom started it as a kid when she “ran away from home” packing her bag with a guitar, a change of underwear and the only two prepared items available in the fridge however her bag had room for just one container. She put them together. The good news is she only was away for the afternoon before she got homesick but not before she ate her packed lunch. 🤣 That is the origin story for pork and beans on potato salad from our family history.

Today’s drama:
One of the hens decided to build a snowman…
but halfway through she said,
“Absolutely not, this needs to be a snow-chicken,”
and now she’s emotionally attached.

She’s been hovering over it like a proud mother,
fixing its beak every 10 seconds
and threatening anyone who walks too close with
“DON’T EVEN BREATHE ON MY ART.”

Hand-painted, and yes — I think the snow-chicken looks a little worried too.

These two stole a sleigh and are delivering presents despite:

❄ No brakes
