🔬Shapiro Lab
It’s that time of year again. Please welcome our latest creation for the @UofG_MCB pumpkins contest. Brought to you by the most enthusiastic lab crew and the magic of a magnetic stir plate (volume on for full effect) 🧙♀️🎃
We started a lab “writing retreat” - fancy title for booking a conference room every Friday afternoon where anyone can come and write. The group aspect adds motivation and accountability. Thanks @christina_cuomo@hyphaltip @acgerstein @ene_lab for the chat that sparked the idea!
Wrapping up a great first day at @ISSY36Vancouver and a beautiful talk by our postdoc @LaetitiaMaroc on non-homologous end joining in Candida glabrata drug resistance #ISSY36
EvoFunPath offers exciting opportunities to fellows. @MichelleTabbi from the @ShapiroRebecca lab is currently visiting the @landrychristian lab to perform experiments using automated screening robots to measure the rate of antifungal resistance evolution.
Incredible work by MSc candidate @MichelleTabbi at #CSM_SCM2022!
This amazing scientist is going to be graduating soon so send all your cool micro job postings her way!
