also when we practice gratitude we normalize good things happening for us in our nervous systems. most of us are wired to always expect the worst. gratitude rewires the brain (and the nervous system) into realizing that there are good things in life and that we are worthy of them
I really hope we have a whole cultural revolution against AI that centers art and literature. I want stuff from human hands, made using human imagination, honed skill, and care of craft.
Growing up in the 90s & early 2000s they wanted us to read, drink milk, play outside, just say no to drugs, reduce, reuse, recycle. Ms. Frizzle was our secondary teacher and Captain Planet was considered a hero. That’s the world I grew up in, so seeing where we are now is wild.
This got me thinking about the time in college i had to call IT for support on my Mac and once I gave him access he went straight to Photo Booth. Opened the application and there I was- just a sitting duck. Never been the same
