My social media experience was a bit difficult for me. I am not a social media person and I never had a twitter until this class. There were times that I forgot that I had to tweet because it's not something that I do regularly. These days technology is the wave of the future

@MeredithAsher1 We need to speak up when we see things like this. When we stay quiet, we are indirectly a part of the problem. If we know that it is happening in our building or neighborhood we should speak up.

@MeredithAsher1 Meredith this policy is great. I did a PowerPoint presentation on human trafficking and I couldn't believe how much of it happens in our own back yard. Prevention through education is key and protecting victims is important.

@RRomo70 Too many of our veterans are struggling with mental health and the veteran benefits are not much help. This is an important policy so they our veterans get the treatment we need. We should take care of our veterans because they put their life on the line for us.

@cgomezsw2019 As social workers, we can find resources to help victims with housing but more importantly counseling. These victims will need help to overcome the mental toll that this had caused.

@Jtash13 What an emotional story. Depression is real and serious. It's not always easy to see the signs but if we recognize it, we have to be supportive and let them know we are here with them.
