⚽️ Referee Academy met last Saturday! Officials were mentored across three matches before taking part in a technical presentation on foul vs. no foul, led by our Manager of Referees, Andrew Hoard. Strong decisions start with strong education!

Seven referee mentors gathered in East Lansing this past weekend for to sharpen their video analysis skills!

The session was led by National Referee Coaches Nichole Kramer-Kiuchi and Jos Abts, providing hands-on guidance to elevate match review and mentoring capabilities. ⚽✨

🏆 Steve Olsen was named the recipient of the Eddie Pearson Award

National Referee Coaches, Nicki, Josh, Yuya and Referee Coach, Ron, led our Advanced Referee Class held in Plymouth last weekend. Referees had an opportunity to develop their referee toolkits!

Josh Abts, Yuya Kiuchi, Nichole Kramer-Kiuchi, and Carlos Folino represented Michigan at the National Referee Coach Camp in Orlando from October 8th to 10th. The camp offers training for referee coaches. It was Josh's first camp, while Yuya served as a lead coach!
