Lake of Rage Theory:

Gold & Silver's 1997 demo featured a shark Pokemon named Ikari who got scrapped from G&S's final build. Ikari translates to both "anchor" and "rage."

The Lake of Rage is home to Shiny Gyarados... but some fans believe it was ORIGINALLY a lake full of Ikari.
