Just so enjoyable to see all of these teams in both the NBA and the NHL plotting all of these blockbuster moves and both the Flyers and Sixers are at a standstill with being in the middle of the pack
Still some final touches needed, and it can’t be announced officially until July 1, but Flyers and Dan Vladar closing in on five-year extension which will carry $5.5M AAV.
@DrewDalton48@AntSanPhilly Why wouldn’t I think that considering he only improved his play even more since the trade deadline, has a low cap hit and been reported plenty of times that Danny would only trade him for a lot and teams are still chasing him hard as it’s reported every single day.
Pierre LeBrun on #CBJ/Werenski:
Waddell is not interested in making a futures deal whatsoever. He wants NHL players, not picks or prospects as he wants the team to remain competitive.
“But all things being equal, I think Werenski is dealt this offseason.”
@ZAnderson7991@AntSanPhilly Michkov has the way higher ceiling and younger but almost wonder if Tippett being under contract already for years of being cheaper and cheaper as the salary cap rises compared to Michkov needing a contract next year is something that’s being overlooked in terms of value
Jaylen Brown’s trade value isn’t that high around the league, per @BobbyMarks42
“I had an analytics guy tell me, ‘We view [Jaylen Brown] as the seventh-best player on a TEAM.’”😳

There will be at least a dozen teams who will inquire over time but some early teams to monitor with interest in Zach Werenski: Dallas, Carolina and Philadelphia.
