@TheCinesthetic Saw this film dozens of times as a kid, but this kind of technical wizardry flew over my head. Spielberg is absolutely a master. His blocking and camera work is so under appreciated. Right up there with Kubrick, Scorcese and the other greats.

@ChrisLaBossiere I've long respected McD's diplomacy about management and his fellow players. He's had every opportunity (and reason!) to criticize the team publicly but he's kept his powder dry for years. Glad he took the opportunity to light a fire under the team. It was a smart way to do it.

I left my @Apple AirPods on @AirCanada flight AC890 from Toronto to Rome en route to the #MilanoCortina2026 Olympics.

They fell under the seat. I didn’t realize this until I went through customs 🫠 The AC desk called the plane to search for them and said they couldn’t find them. Now I’m tracking them around the world 😆

He'll take a film he's savaged, and then step by step rework the character plot arcs and narrative structure in a pretty compelling way. You might hate his opinions, but he does understand good storytelling.
