This morning, I met with the Multi-Sectoral Working Group (MSWG) led by Gender, Culture, The Arts and Heritage Cabinet Secretary @CSAishaJumwa at the SKM Command Centre.

The MSWG was entrusted with creating and recommending a framework for implementing the not more than two-thirds gender principle. The MWSG developed a report after hearing from numerous stakeholders, including the opposition, which was then given to the Kenya Women's Parliamentarian Association.

I'm looking forward to reading over it and offering ideas, especially those from the @TheWiperParty, which I head.

The #MSWG on the not more than two-thirds gender principle making their presentation before the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) highlighted that the two-thirds gender principle as an outstanding constitutional matter and reiterated support for its expeditious implementation.

#MSWG submitted that the principle is a gender-neutral provision that when fully implemented will ensure participation of both gender in democracy and governance processes and accord women an opportunity to participate in elective politics.
