My 27 year Veteran with Vascular Dementia has improved.

Recognize signs, research the living heck out of it. File claims at first sign. The unfortunate thing is all the work us spouses do, goes unnoticed. We only receive another $200 a month and they didn't even, after I have been vetted and have GOV issued ID for years, as a not a dependant.

Contact your VA commision. You go through heck for months again.

All became worse. My husbands dementia takes him into a brain reset each day. Awesome all day, but I sleep 2 hours per night. I wake up doing a treasure hunt. Everything I had in order: misplaced.
I wish this disease on not even my worst enemy.
