Welp, I woke up Tuesday with many of my Long covid symptoms flaring up like crazy๐๐ต๐ฅด๐ตโ๐ซ๐ค๐คจ๐. My visible app was a 1. Iโve never been a 1. So I missed ๏ฟผthe flight as Iโm basically bed bound now. Iโm so incredibly disappointed and sad. #LongCovid#chronicillness
On Monday I was bragging to all my family & friends how much Iโve improved! I was super excited to fly to the wedding of my niece and nephew. Iโve been fighting LC since July 2020. Iโve been feeling better and had set a goal 3 months ago to recover and attend the wedding.
@CovidSolidarit1 Buzzing on the bottom of my feet when going to sleep. Especially the left foot. The Tinnitus concert in my ears. Every night while falling asleep Iโd get a jarring burst of energy. Knock on wood it hasnโt happened in awhile.
@SammieFMc @visible_health@HarryLeeming I use it and I find it very useful. Helps with planing the day. Iโve learned if I score a 4 or 5 to keep pacing ๐ few weeks ago I had a 5 and thought I was superman ๐ was a 1 or 2 for a week after
There is so many folks suffering and fighting Long Covid. As of today there no cure. Many are far worse then I. Letโs be kind to all people. You never know what others are fighting. Infused with Kindness, empathy and acceptance. ๐
โENTHUSIASMโ is a state of mind. It inspires action and is the most contagious of all emotions. Thatโs how I lived my life before #longcovid. Now it may appear I live with a casualness, lukewarmness or even a detachment emotion. Which I do at times. Itโs all part of healing.
My #1 goal is complete healing. In the short term my daily goal is to manage myself better. Iโm doing lots of breathing exercises, Yoga ๐งโโ๏ธ๐, drinking a ton of water ๐ฆ and Vagus nerve stimulation. Which includes singing ๐๐ถ๐ .
All of that helps with my PEM Or Post-exertional malaise. Which is exercise intolerance. If I over do it regarding exercise or mentally I crash real hard. Every symptom associated with long Covid comes back like King Kong ๐๐คจ. Can last for a day or days even weeks ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ.
