It actually kinda depresses me that has been working for two plus decades can actually sit down and write this joke. What did this take, 20 seconds? And he just?? Put it in his Netflix special??? Dark
@DanStapleton I’m playing with a friend. We found half the a medallion together in multiplayer. Then separately, he found the other half and I found where to use them. Next time we played together, we helped each other catch up.
People keep going "professionals are criticizing elden ring's ux" but I haven't seen anything that appears to approach any level of professional feedback whatsoever
@PlanktonPoster No? We’ve all got it tough? It’s no excuse for what he did? He can have a second chance by getting a regular ass job as a cashier or something. Videos are clickbait trash with the simplest, most braindead jokes anyway.
@KawaiiFoxita That’s funny cuz I have been going through comments and asking ppl what would an easy mode look like. And they just say “toggle easy on/off”. Yea but like more damage? More stamina? Better items? Faster movement? What does that look like? No one has answered me so far.
@tindenli @Thiagocrocha_ @MenasLG So before you collect a map for an area, you can look at the map you have and it’ll ju say show some faint lines in the area for roads and stuff and you’ll also be able to see a small brownish pillar somewhere. So far, 3 areas now, that pillar has marked the location of a map.
@FfKing1140 @SweetPeachGames They CREATED their own genre and a multi million selling franchise. You’re all so obviously frustrated at the game and go on the internet to argue in bad faith about it instead.
@__mathemagical @HeartFlaw @InfinityTias @umdet3 @SweetPeachGames Exactly. There’s always going to be parts to every game that are too hard/annoying/“inaccessible” for SOME ppl. You either deal w it or play something else. You don’t criticize the devs in bad faith and tell them they need to make a different game specifically for you.
@HeartFlaw @InfinityTias @__mathemagical @umdet3 @SweetPeachGames These smooth brain complaints about making the game easier don’t actually think about design at all. And they’ll say games are art but then say “why wouldn’t you want to sell copies to as many ppl as possible, just compromise on artistic design choices for the mass appeal.”
@HeartFlaw @InfinityTias @__mathemagical @umdet3 @SweetPeachGames or more flasks from the start or spells handed to you quickly or without having to defeat a bunch of enemies first or I-frames extended or faster inputs - the list goes on. But changing all that stuff would make a totally different, worse game.
