Lewis Stevens, Ashford
Child rapist from Ashford jailed for more than 20 years
A sex offender from Ashford who targeted both children and adults has been jailed for more than 20 years.
In 2021, an investigation was launched into Lewis Stevens after allegations were made that he had raped two children in the late 2000s.
While enquiries were underway, a woman reported to officers she had also been raped by Stevens and another complained he had sent her indecent images of himself.
Stevens, of New Town Green, was arrested in November 2021 and later charged with multiple sexual offences.
Court
He denied all allegations against him and was convicted by a Maidstone Crown Court jury of 10 charges including five counts of rape of a child.
At the same court on Thursday 16 July, Stevens, 34, was given an extended sentence of 22 years and 6 months in prison. He will serve a further 6 years and 6 months on licence when he becomes eligible for parole.
Remorseless
Investigating officer Detective Constable Robert
Hughes said:
'Stevens' sickening crimes occurred over a prolonged period of time, showing him to be a persistent and remorseless danger to the community.'His victims have endured horrific experiences, and Stevens' denial of his actions have forced them to relive them in what must have been a very difficult court process.
'We are satisfied he will spend a long time behind bars, and we hope this jail term will give those he's abused a sense that justice has been served.'
🚨 Oban, Scotland 🏴
A quiet Highland town.
Now two serious sexual assaults in two months.
A 15-year-old girl raped near the football pitch on Saturday night.
Another woman attacked in the woods just weeks earlier.
These things simply did not used to happen here.
Where are you, @JohnSwinney?
While ordinary Scots watch their communities change and their daughters become less safe, the First Minister remains silent and out of touch.
Protect your people.
Or step aside for someone who will.

The destruction of antiquities, art, and cultural heritage throughout the Middle East is devastating. A deliberate effort to erase thousands of years of history that existed before Islam.
No history, no civilization, no memory, no future.
Carlisle, Cumbria.
Ex‑policeman accused of rape, sexual assault and strangulation.
A former Cumbria Police officer has been charged with rape, sexual assault and two counts of intentional strangulation, with the alleged offences said to have taken place while he was off‑duty.
Matthew Stewart, 31, of Carlisle, previously served as a special constable, police community support officer, and later a police constable from 2015 until leaving the force in 2024. After his departure, he was subjected to gross misconduct proceedings, resulting in him being formally barred from policing last year.
Cumbria Police confirmed the criminal charges relate to two victims, with the allegations surfacing in the aftermath of the misconduct process.
Stewart is due to appear at North Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on 24 August, where he will face the full set of charges.
Scottish patriot ‘Jaoc_Returns’ sheds some light on Saturday’s events by sharing that he was one of very few arrests made.
They were given an ultimatum by police.
This man sees what it stacked against Scotland and insists Glasgow can be the example for the rest of the country.
Swinney will try and shut the people down at every turn and Jaoc thinks the @pinkladies_uk demo in September could be targeted.
Don’t give them what they want 🏴
@Maclurite@KieraDiss@WeegieLife I asked for the specific "crime" or "victim" they stated "there are potential victims " as they haven't got full report of damages etc. They added they'd look pretty stupid if they didn't get our details. I asked have you done the same with the the agitators? He said ofcourse😏
Non-whites are getting together in England to attack White people like a fucking army😤
This is exactly WHY non-whites are coming to our White Nations in mass force to dominate us, take over & to genôcide us!🤬
Us White people need to stick together for our White Race survival
I MADE A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT IN THE DEC 2020 AND TOLD NORTHUMBRIA POLICE THIS IS AND WAS A BIO WEAPON AND LINKED WITH 5G FOR MURDER - WE NOW HAVE AN IOPC CASE AGAINST THOSE THAT COVERED IT UP.
Our women and children are afraid too but @STVNews don't want to hear about native concerns about the rape and violent figures going threw the roof.
@STVNews you are actively feuling the division with your single narrative reporting.
We don't believe anything you put out.
Further evidence has emerged of when Police Scotland wrongfully detained @WeegieLife and a group of patriots in Glasgow at the weekend.
In this officer’s own words, this group did absolutely nothing wrong.
But Swinney still chooses to scapegoat them.
