I hope many christians now realise that no man has any power to heal anyone.

Only the Sovereign God has the power to heal, only God chooses if He will heal, only God chooses when He will, and only God must get the glory if healing takes place.

In many extremist charismatic settings, some pastors have exalted themselves to demigod status and made it look like they have the power by themselves and in themselves to heal. Videos like this show that no man by himself and in himself has any power to heal anyone.

Only God in His sovereign mercy and by His sovereign choice can decide to heal, or not to heal, a man. We are all nothing but vessels in His hand, and no matter how much men deify ordinary men to godlike status, only God has the power to heal, if He chooses to heal.

I expect that many people will still come and cry hot tears under this post, but the truth must be said, even if it’s unpopular.

In Acts 3:12, after healing a crippled man at the Beautiful Gate and the people were awestruck, Peter said to the crowd “why do you people stare at us as if it is by our own power or holiness that we made this man walk”. Peter then spent the next few verses saying it is the name of Jesus that made the man whole- not Peter’s power.

Again, contrary to what your pastor has told you, pls know this now:
No man has the power to heal anyone.

Only God can heal,
And He will do it only if He wants to,
By His own sovereign divine mercy.
