We are housing a male sex offender who was deemed a Dangerous Offender in a prison with women. And, worse, on a floor that has a mother-baby program. He was imprisoned for raping a 3 month old baby boy who needed reparative surgery.
We lie to children and youth telling they can change sex, which they cannot.
We tell those same kids that anyone who doesn't play along with their dissociative state, that that person hates them and wants them dead. Then wonder why they act out violently, muderously? No duh, fools.
Then we prevent clinicians from providing meaningful exploration due to poorly worded federal legislation.
Now, a retiree is facing an impossible fine for speaking up.
Beware! Your views, too, may one day fall outside the main. No room for dissent in Canada.
And, where are our politicians? Crickets.
Here, have a date with an alleged self-confessed murderer and convicted baby rapist:

Reminder for all young parents:
You only get:
- 1 Summer with your baby
- 3 with your toddler

This time is precious. Don’t rush it.
Let's go for a walk, have some laughs and raise some money for a great cause!
The https://t.co/k0AgruOFuw in Bowmanville is hosting the "Walk A Mile" event. Saturday, June 13.
A powerful fundraising event in support of women and children impacted by gender-based violence. Whether you walk in honour of someone you love, in support of survivors, or simply because you believe in change, your participation makes a real difference.
Funds raised help provide safe shelter, essential services, trauma-informed care, and critical support programs for women and children on their journey to healing.
Allons faire une balade, rigoler un peu et récolter des fonds pour une bonne cause !

Trannies: Men have no physical advantage over women.
There are 4 female officers trying to restrain the guy. See what happens when a male officer joins them.
It's D-Day again, so I'm going to repost my tweet from two years ago that ended up being weirdly controversial.
I stand by it today: men do a lot of really hard and dangerous things that make life better for all of us, and I can be a feminist and also be grateful to them for it.
@InclusionCA Trans-identified male Adam Laboucan, convicted of raping an infant, assaulted a female inmate while housed in a women’s prison in BC after she called him a “pedophile.”
The woman was punished by being placed in segregation for “inciting” his assault.

Great question. Because we fought for our rights and won. There was no more fight to have. We have the same rights as straight people. We are protected under the same laws. What’s happened now is a hijacking of the original movement and Pride has become about identity and ideology rather than sexual preference.
LGB is sexual preference. 2STQIAA+ is identity. It’s been taken over by people who really have nothing to do with the original sentiment. It’s become a spectacle that many of us don’t want anything to do with.
Even a couple of public firings and disciplines for GC views is enough to create a chilly climate. People notice and shut up at work, with friends, online, etc.
Off the top of my head: Maya Forstater, James Damore, Kathleen Stock, Jo Phoenix, @DreyfusJames, @Glinner. I personally know multiple people currently stuck in lengthy HR nightmares or licensing issues for expressing sex-based views. All of them had clean performance records to date.
For the Canadian context, speak with @preta_6, @scottgeiler, @FSpiegelberg, Barry Neufeld, the teacher couple in Ontario, or Skye Gilbert. Ask them how much their unblemished performance records protected them when they expressed GC views. There are plenty of cases. If you don’t know about these cases (or others), then maybe stop making claims about their existence?
Or look at the BC HRT outcomes: a bar owner was fined because he used biological sex pronouns on an employee, a woman was hit with a $10k fine after a “friend” complained about a *private conversation* in which she expressed concern over planned “gender-affirming” surgery.
How many firings, HR cases, and tribunal fines will it take before it counts for you? What’s the magic number?
Maybe speak with the women who are caged with cosplaying men in prisons and ask how it goes when they complain about discomfort or abuse. I have. It’s fucking gross what we’re doing to them.
The chilly climate created by a few cancellations keeps most people silent about disagreement or concerns with current gender policy in Canada -- let alone sharing full GC views. And, that silencing includes showing up to protests.
All of this soft authoritarian bullshit creates a chilly climate.
Don’t be obtuse. It compromises your integrity.
@datadriven_tdoc Haltigan is criticising the headline not the teenage boy.
That boy should not be competing against girls.
Expand the bandwidth of being male.
Snark. Up from group that fits into sedan to group that needs a minivan.
It's almost like the whole speak out and ruin one's life is a figment and deffo not affecting a thing?! Why would folks not risk their livelihoods, family, friends, custody, employment, etc. Like, that can't be a thing. So weird.
Minimising the realities of cancellation.
OK @Niigaanwewidam, what are the "lies, conjecture, absolute falsehoods" that I am spreading? You have a responsibility, as an academic, to analyze my arguments and show how this is the case.
