Wieland-Gumlich aldehyde. A precursor in the partialsynthesis of #Toxiferine, a very potent toxin from Strychnos toxifera. Also, the biosynthetic precursor of #Strychnine. The aldehyde is masked as a hemiacetal. It shows a nice blue fluorescence under UV-light.

@docsteinmetz @derspiegel Genau die Problematik sehe ich auch. Es wird einfach mit buzzwords umhergeworfen anstatt sich vernünftig mit dem Umgang mit Dingen auseinanderzusetzen. Erdnüsse sind auch mit AfB1 belastet und keiner heult rum. Es geht immer um Verhältnismäßigkeit. Für Medien oft ein Fremdwort.
