On Tuesday 30th November I was presented with an MBE for services to Higher Education, Zoology, Reptile Conservation, and Snakebite Research, by HRH the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, at an investiture at Windsor Castle. It was a great and unexpected honour.

@SgsVishnu Shocked! you should not have been given antivenom.12 days later you feel fine, hopefully no damage done but to make sure your kidneys continue to function properly keep well hydrated by drinking clean water. I've had 12 & 16 ampoules for rattlesnake bites and I was fine after.
