This devlog details the basic controls I’ve been working on and the previous two go over the extensive camera overhaul. I’ve started prototyping the first level and working on combat atm and some ui.

Been a while since I’ve posted here (I’m on the other site) but for anyone still wondering yes I’m still chipping away at Beeknighted. I guarantee you’ll be able to play it before Beyond Good & Evil 2 comes out!
I posted a devlog to the itch page with where I’m at. Link below:
Whoever did this basically decompiled Zera Myths Awaken, repackaged it and released it on Nintendo Eshop.
They could've released it as a mod or fan game but releasing it on eshop and asking for money is not the way.

@Fusiondude890@spacefarergames This is a stolen game they are selling on the eshop. The original game is a free demo called Zera made by Cyreides on itch that they renamed/recolored and added a slop cover to. You will find plenty of gameplay from it.
@BenjiGameDev It’s a very good movie but doesn’t stand out particularly in any one aspect to elevate it with its contemporaries. I think SG:1 is in a similar place, good, but not as exceptional as the other big name sci-fi shows. “Comfy” perhaps.

Even with all these complaints, I’m tentatively ranking it above the Hobbit movies until I think on it more. It definitely doesn’t reach near the heights of the OG trilogy, and I think it’s fair to compare it unfavorably to the Berkerk GA films. But it’s also not RoP or Gollum
Saw the LotR anime. No spoilers, I need to think on it but my impression was it was inoffensive but unsatisfying. There’s some nice shots, a generally well meaning adaptation/expansion of the story, with a few really stupid interjections of bad dialogue.
The pacing felt weird in some spots and there’s an oddly lacking sense of scale to things. The Hornburg feels kind of small (this I’m ok with), but also Wulf’s forces and the Rohirrim feel small. There’s not really a big sense of stakes that the original text makes explicit.
