James Cameron has been known to fix small errors in the revised versions of his films. The night’s sky in Titanic. Lance Henriksen’s visible torso coming out of the floor in Aliens. The truck window frame in T2. But will he fix this moment from The Abyss? (Yes, this is real)
"One of the best documentaries of the year!"

Shot over five years, THE STAIRS (2016) is a deeply compassionate, prejudice-challenging portrait of habitual drug users at an urban health center staffed by both former and current users. ❤️🩹

Concrete Valley opens Friday at @TIFF_NET It's a beautiful portrait of Thorncliffe Park but it's also rigorous with a level of craft and detail that this city needs. The insight found is hard-won but genuinely profound and I hope you're able to see it with an audience in Toronto.
The Ford Government should be under police investigation. It is not possible to believe that these land speculators paid tens of millions for land that could not be developed without knowing the greenbelt protections would be removed. Criminal.
Along with hundreds of community members, we are heartbroken to hear of the sudden passing of Alexandra de Kiewit. Alexandra was central to harm reduction and drug user advocacy not only in Quebec, but across Turtle Island and internationally.

I called up John Carpenter for @NewYorker; I’m pretty sure he was playing Fallout. Some thoughts from the greatest living American genre filmmaker on his movies - and, more happily, video games, pro wrestling, and the Golden State Warriors dynasty. https://t.co/fuxy4NU6Jd.
A Night of Knowing Nothing opens this week at @tiff_net. While on TIFF’s Amplify Voices jury last year, was pleased to award it a $10K prize. Also won many more prizes, incl at Cannes. Go see it.
An electrifying debut, Payal Kapadia's A NIGHT OF KNOWING NOTHING is a fever dream of impossible love with a reflection on contemporary India. ✨
Presented in partnership with @imagesfestival, (re)discover the film at TIFF Bell Lightbox Aug 11–17: https://t.co/CyuIPexIIG
