At 9am we hosted our Drive Through/Drive By/Parade for our Year 9 Graduates. We had cookies by Colin, music, posters and all the fun in the world. Mr Schouten and Ms Stygal even performed for them. Love my Year 9s (and their families), miss them, super proud of them all!!!
I love this. The last time we were all properly together we did this. And it's beautiful. And other schools all around the world did it with us. Amazing.
To celebrate Sing Up Day, students from Years 1-10 led a virtual performance of over 700 students from all across the world! We are very excited to show you the final video - the full version available on Facebook! #BISCSL#BISCSLMusic#VirtualChoir#NAEBeAmbitious#NAEJuilliard
Last couple of days I have spent every free lesson holding 1:1 sessions with Year 9s to check in, catch up and see how they are feeling about the future. This has been the best way to spend my time. I miss these kids a lot and am finding these chats incredibly uplifting!
Happy Friday everyone - we want to wish you a lovely spring break by sharing our year 7's performance of 'Catch a Falling Star' 🌟The power of music in these last couple of weeks has proven to be so important! Have a lovely break! @MidSchoolBISC@BISCSouthLoop#BeAmbitious
One of the best things about being a Head of Middle School in an all through school is that my Middle Schoolers get such inspiration from the senior students. An amazing recital so far featuring Stella, Georgia, Lucas and Brigid.
Today for valentine's Day I received a box of chocolates, a heart shaped lolly, a heart shaped donut and a wiggly worm that I have named Mellin. Middle Schoolers are super cute!
Just when I think I have done my one last tweet for the night, Middle School make me proud again... A huge well done to Avani in Year 8 for organising Valentines Day cards for children at Luries. Thank you to every Middle Schooler who contributed - you are making a difference!
