The Road to Midas First Halving

#Midas incorporates a time-based halving mechanism into its tokenomics, designed to progressively reduce the base mining rate according to a predefined schedule.

The current base mining rate stands at 8 MID/hour. Following the first halving, the rate will decrease to 4 MID/hour, marking the first step in Midas's planned emission reduction model.

On November 10, 2026, Midas will officially disclose its halving schedule in whitepaper, providing the community with clarity on the planned intervals and phases of this mechanism.

The halving system is an integral part of Midas's economic design, established from the outset to support a structured approach to token emissions while the project continues to develop in accordance with its roadmap.

In #Midas Phase 4, wallet claiming will allow miners to generate their wallet keys and unlock the next stage of the ecosystem, starting with testnet P2P transactions.

This will give miners an opportunity to explore peer-to-peer transfers on the testnet before the mainnet migration. Following migration, on-chain P2P transactions will become available on mainnet, bringing blockchain-based transfers into the Midas ecosystem.

Wallet claiming is also the starting point for additional wallet features, expanding how miners can manage and use their #MID beyond the current experience.

From generating your wallet keys to exploring P2P transactions, Phase-4 will introduce a new dimension to how you interact with Midas.
