Gotcha and agreed, it’s like the developmental makes its way to the bigger stage nowadays and it’s too much exposure. Unfortunately that’s the times we live in now where the entertainment has been replaced by the sports they aim to sell. It’s not super story driven as it once was
I’m not talking about TKO or the current main event storylines or WWE specifically. Im talking about the generic presentation of wrestling as a whole. With the exception of maybe 10-15 girls and guys it’s all generic music, high spots, boring personalities and no deviation
Gotta push back on this.
We gotta keep it real, this hasn’t been good. This is the most celebs/influencers have been involved, Cena button pushed only 4 months into his retirement, and now tickets are 25% off.
Nobody is asking for the 80s/90s, just for TKO to fuck off.
Wrestling will never get back to the level of the late 80s-90s because folks hate fun. You can’t get characters and exciting moments because folks crying about win loss records and being “real” wrestlers.
