Our week 7 player of the week is sophomore Kamryn Super! Kamryn has improved tremendously since the beginning of the season and works hard every practice to get even better. She embraces challenging workouts and gives them 100% no matter the difficulty.
Congrats to our 6th player of the week, freshman Victoria Ernst. Victoria has been a great addition to our team this year and an absolute pleasure to coach. She has the best attitude every day and has steadily improved throughout the season!
Our 5th player of the week is sophomore Paulina Rios. Paulina has worked very hard all season and it really paid off this past week. She ran a pr in the 800 vs EHT then was added to two relays at Cherokee at the last minute and did exceptionally well. Hard work works!
Congrats to our 4th player of the week, freshman Olivia Harkins. Olivia is improving every day and has had great 800m performances in our meets. We are excited to see how far Olivia goes in her career.
Congrats to junior Sarina Wen, our week 3 player of the week! Sarina has a great attitude, never complains and will do anything asked of her. She was one of our hardest workers at practice last week and set two PRs (800m & javelin) in our meet vs ACIT.
Players: The point of HS sports isn’t getting a college scholarship. It’s learning cooperation, loyalty, communication, being a good person & working with others in good times & bad. If a scholarship comes from that, great. But either way, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
