I don't prejudge any MAGA person I meet. There are some rotten apples in any political bunch. But it's rare for me to despise anyone I see declare themself MAGA.

I think/hope most people would agree but fundamentally a lot of people have lost empathy with the 'other side'.

I have good friends who are very well spoken and educated... But still fall into simple logical fallacies when defending their position and have absolutely no desire to even engage in a difference of opinion with someone else. They believe down to their bone that they are right and truly believe anyone that says differently are evil or the good ol fascist/racist/sexist/homophobic trope defense.
