GMS would like to give a special thanks to @groundcarema for donating pumpkins to our students last week! Eighty students across all grade levels worked together to create beautiful pumpkins that can be seen throughout the school!

Our school year has been off to a fantastic start! We have an attendance challenge going on for the month of September, and we are proud of the work our students have done so far ! This is a reminder to please make sure your students are coming to school on time and in uniform.

Students in our middle school received some of their summer reading materials today! Your student was given the first of 4 books along with book logs and other written work to complete this summer.

Calling all GMS families and friends: The GMS Spring Arts Showcase is back in-person! All are welcome to attend. Our students have been busy rehearsing in chorus, dance, and theatre and are excited to perform for you this Thursday, June 2nd at 6PM.

Last week at GMS, students were given the opportunity to meet guest speaker Jonathan Grondin. Jonathan is a shoe designer from New Balance, who came into Mr. Viellieu STEAM lab to discuss the design process. Our students got to see latest models of various sneakers!

On Friday, the Lawrence Public School Safety Resource Officers were here to spend time with our students at recess. Our kids had a blast playing football, basketball, and meeting Lancer the comfort dog!
