I'm bored tonight so I asked AI to do its best and compare patronage public transport patronage across different cities/metros. Some of these numbers are probably slightly off but the best I managed to get them with some fine-tuning and with the limitations of AI.
@TheOpalUser Melbourne has a lot of international students which fuels demand for stuff like this in Melbourne CBD. UniMelb and RMIT are just closer in and more integrated to the city.
@OperationalInc1 And in turn this change in attitude is why many lines are getting more after dark services soon including every 10 minutes to Clifton Hill and Ringwood. And more feeder buses are now suddenly running to midnight especially since the recent Wyndham and Craigieburn upgrades.
Hello again HCMT at South Yarra. I don't know why these aren't just extended into Flinders St or the city loop though. I do like how Sydney makes an effort to divert trains into different city tracks during weekend infrastructure works. Eg, T4 trains go via T1 to North Sydney.
