1. You’re a professional body, act like it. Cos why are you using mobile phone to snap an official document for social media?

2. 6 months for verification is too long. Countries are moving forward and advancing the nursing practice… when e reach our turn..voicemail.

3. 2 years of work minimum before verification is BS. First world countries don’t even do that. Not that you should copy them oh but wisdom is profitable to direct. Nursing registers all around the world could be filled with Nigerians but how many foreign nurses are on our own register?

I know you don’t want people to japa.. but doing this just shows how backwards the nursing profession is and exactly why people are leaving. Instead of you guys to encourage nurses to come back and give to advance the profession in Nigeria, you’re doing fire for fire.

I will die on this hill: THERE IS NO NURSING SHORTAGE!

Pay your nurses well and you will see them. Because call it pride or whatever, but I personally did not pass through that traumatic nursing school only to come and be earning less than 100k (and that’s even low).

IT’S AN INSULT.
