Sure, STEM is really cool. As our 6th-grade Northeast Vikings recently learned firsthand, STEM is more than just a cool acronym; science, technology, engineering, and math are real-life, important tools used to keep all of us safe and healthy every day. 1/3
The NMS Chief Science Officers (CSOs) hosted a First Responders Day to give students the opportunity to talk with local first responders about how they use STEM in their day-to-day work. 2/3

The Midland High girls' JV and varsity soccer players and Coach Rodrico Barassi spent a recent Saturday at the Midland Miracle Field. In total, over 25 volunteer Chemic athletes spent their morning helping more than 60 fellow Midlanders experience the joy of playing baseball!
T-SHIRT FRIDAY: Superintendent Penny Miller-Nelson and Associate Superintendent Kara Stark joined Central Park Elementary for a perfectly pretty pink moment - and it's for a great cause! The pink t-shirts are from Central Park's 4th annual Relay For Life shirt fundraiser.
