MSU Sparkles as Innovation Extravaganza Ushers in a New Era of Knowledge-Led Industrialisation https://t.co/jjG06DIJVS

[Hon Tatenda.A. Mavetera @TateMavetera]

Today I addressed Midlands State University's Research, Innovation and Industrialisation Week.

My message was simple: We have the talent. We have the institutions. We have the policy. What we need more execution.

What is in place:
✅ National AI Strategy 2026–2030
✅ NDS2 industrialisation focus
✅ Education 5.0 commercialisation mandate

What my Ministry is championing:
🔹 National AI Acceleration Centre synergy with our local institutions.
🔹 Presidential Innovation Fund via POTRAZ
🔹 Research and development fund
🔹 Patent registration support
🔹 Digital Centres, GPU access, Project Pangolin

What we told the MSU community:

"We want more innovations that enter the market, attract investment, solve real problems, create jobs and contribute directly to national development."

The path from knowledge to impact runs through policy, partnership and persistence.

Let's walk it together.
