#RIP: The man who sadly lost his life in yesterday’s stabbings in #Birmingham has today been described as ‘the light of our life’ by his family.
Jacob Billington was just 23 when he was stabbed in Irving Street as he was out with school friends from Liverpool.
#BREAKING: @WMPolice have arrested a man on suspicion of murder and seven counts of attempted murder in connection with the #BirminghamStabbings.
The man, 27, was held at an address in Selly Oak, #Birmingham, at around 4am today.
LATEST: The police have said that there is nothing so far to suggest that the motive of last night’s stabbing incident was either that of a 🏳️🌈 LGBT hate crime or a terror attack.
@WMPolice are still eager to speak to anyone who took photographs or video footage of the attacker
