Who's in the mood for a swim this weekend? The weather is certainly right for it! If you're doing some training, make the most of it by trying out these great tips. https://t.co/ADowcU30qq
When doing a training session in the pool, consider wearing a pair of baggies or boardshorts. They will create a bit of resistance in the water, which means you'll have to work harder and therefore get more benefit from the training.
Want to mix up your training a bit? Don't just stick to one stroke...if you're a freestyler, give breaststroke or butterfly a go and you might be surprised at how much fun it adds to your training - you'll also be grateful for the diversity on race day.
We love the determination in these faces! Getting involved in open water swimming teaches all sorts of good values...determination, discipline, perseverance and the power of hard work.
