@kylime_ The veggie chopping one used to look like the above in an early trailer before it was changed (presumably because it didn't look rhythm heaven enough). I have to wonder how many of the minigames they ended up tracing 3d/redoing the graphics of, and that's why they look so weird

@gay_madilynn It's not even an option available on the config screen by the time you get to the fight 🙃 It gets replaced by the feather control setting and becomes inaccessible. Not sure if it was available before feather or if this chapter genuinely shipped with no simplify vfx.

@pynchosa The fact that feather settings permanently replaced the ability to both turn the voice clips on and use simplify vfx has made his fight a pain for me. Voice thing probably a glitch but I wonder if they scrapped simplify vfx because barely any effort was being put into it anyway.

Doubly true for ppl who didn't play/internalize UT. UT teaches you the mindset you need starting DR. This is present in obvious ways like inclination to nonviolence but also subtler things like looking for optional dialogue and making conclusions from nonlinear story presentation

I've noticed friends & ytbrs can kinda gloss over dialogue they don't intuitively understand the meaning of? So yes that unskippable scene in chapter 2 where Noelle mentions Dess exists, but ppl may not commit that to memory because they don't really recognize that they should.

@ftn_ale Its also failing to consider the fact that this sculpture is a physical object carved out of a slab and certain proportional choices had to be made to accommodate that. You can see his right hand is disproportionately huge, because otherwise he'd be so top heavy he'd fall over.

@usddos I can't believe no one's said the actual genuine answer which is a diamond art kit with this as the picture. Every time I've seen someone buy an AI-generated product that'd be too big to feasibly fake for cheap, it's been this.

@LunarWave__ I personally find tgaa to be the best the series has to offer so I like to recommend it after the original trilogy to avoid AA5-AA6 burnout, then AJ trilogy and AAI duology in whichever order you'd like.

@yumeni_kasuga I don't think the light world has to be made of dark as a material to be wholly fake. It already is fake purely by virtue of being the setting of the video game, which itself is aware of that fact

The way she (& the glitch statement & the general nonblack fandom response to the situation) feel the need to le epic newgrounds sarcasm aurafarm over issues regarding the safety and wellbeing of black people demonstrates an inconsiderate level of emotional distancing from racism

@fuedalreese Noticed this in her 2020 blm tweet people are pulling up too. Aggressive repugnance to racism is ofc needed, but the way she approaches it is so hyperbolic as to be unserious, and completely avoids showing sympathy for black people affected or acknowledging her own behavior
