Midnight Radio is now available to preorder for Kindle. Paperback, hardcover, and Special Edition are on the way.
Getting here took coffee, a few arguments with my editor, and a clock we couldn’t see in the dark.
Here’s the story:

I did an interview about Midnight Radio, where it started, the humor, and some of my own life that found its way into the story. I'd love for you to read it.
Hey, you want to have some fun? Come on.

@DoohGreg77 Well, that is what Karen Read says, depending of course on which version of events that she gave that you believe. Here are a few different versions:
Rumors:
Why didn’t Brian Albert come out of the house?
-Brian and his wife were sound asleep and didn’t wake up until Jen McCabe entered their bedroom.
-No one else in the neighborhood came outside.
-The sirens were not on.
-there was a blizzard outside with Gusts of 40 to 50 mph.
-When Brian Albert came downstairs John was already leaving in the ambulance.
Colin was in the house and killed John O’Keefe:
-Nine people were in the house, and most of them saw Colin. All have stated that Colin left before Karen’s car arrived.
-Other friends of Brian Albert Jr. also left before all the adults returned home from the Waterfall, not just Colin.
-Colin has evidence proving he was home well before John and Karen showed up.
-Jen and Matt McCabe, who were the last to arrive before John and Karen, confirmed they didn’t see Colin because he wasn’t there when they arrived.
The Google Search:
-Both Jen McCabe and the state have consistently stated that the Google search did not happen at 2:27 a.m.
-Jen informed officers that Karen Read asked her to Google “how long it takes to die in the cold.” Karen also asked first responders the same question and multiple of them testified to that.
-Cellebrite, the digital analysis software, acknowledged a glitch in its system. It confirmed that the search at 2:27 a.m. wasn’t new but rather a previously opened tab Jen used to search for her kids’ basketball team. The same tab was reopened the next morning when Karen asked her to search it.
-Cellebrite has acknowledged and fixed the error in their software. -Neither the state nor Cellebrite denies the initial misplacement of the search timestamp.
The Taillight:
-Karen Read admitted in her own interviews that her taillight was damaged. She even admitted she showed it to Jen McCabe and Kerry Roberts, which both confirmed in their testimony.
-She told the McCabes over the phone, before arriving at their house, that her taillight was broken.
-Karen admitted her father inspected the taillight to determine if the car was safe to drive home in the blizzard.
-A Canton police dashcam recorded her damaged taillight at 8:22 a.m.
-The State Police SERT team’s search for the taillight, as confirmed by timestamps, began after Karen’s car was already towed to the Canton police sallyport. This makes it impossible for the taillight evidence to have been planted.
Why didn’t Canton Police find the taillight:
-They weren’t looking for it.
-First responders and witnesses from that morning reported 4-6 inches of snow on the ground.
-Canton Police collected evidence at the scene but didn’t dig through the snow.
-The SERT team later used shovels to dig through the snow and uncover the taillight.
John O’Keefe was beaten inside 34 Fairview:
-Six people who saw John at the Waterfall Bar testified they didn’t see him again that night.
-John’s phone never entered 34 Fairview.
-John’s phone remained near the side yard, where Karen Read’s SUV was last seen.
-All nine people inside 34 Fairview testified that John never entered the house.
Nobody saw John’s body:
-Not true, Julie Nagel saw him, but didn’t realize in those seconds driving by in the vehicle that it was a man in the snow.
--Nobody was actively looking for a body when leaving the house at 1 a.m. after a night of drinking.
-It was snowing and dark, and his body was found near the fire hydrant and bushes, almost on the neighbor’s lawn, away from where cars were parked.
Colin had issues with John:
-Colin never had issues with John.
-Colin was not involved in drug-related activity in John’s neighborhood. The story about John reporting drug dealing to Canton Police is true, but involved someone else-not Colin Albert.
-Colin never dumped beer cans on John’s lawn.
Chris and Julie had issues with John:
-False. Chris and Julie were friends with John.
-John visited Chris’s pizza shop that day with his nephew and asked about meeting up that night.
-John asked Chris and Julie to keep an eye on his house while he was away.
OMG! I just can't!
