@pixelmarshmallo that's always one of the weirdest parts about this game. If you win a race you're not "supposed" to win, your uma immediately disqualifies the positive to be super moody and wibble about how it was a fluke and they're still not good enough. And it's like... GIRL. *GIRL*.
@pixelmarshmallo I thought it was awesome that chapter 6 or so of her prologue story had her intervening when a guy was having serious anger management problems. Like, he was about to start swinging. And she would've gladly retaliated. But ironically she de-escalated it by offering him "options".
@lunarandsunny Teenagers don't usually communicate with your level of nuance, particularly when they're experienced on a topic. (in your case, horses)
Nothing against teens btw. Most people's brains aren't really finished cooking until their mid 20's at earliest. I'm impressed actually. 😇
@FightMeYoshimi@FlareonTwitch@alex_cast65 It's not creep behavior to get on your knees and grope a random stranger's shins from behind? Yeah, OK. I hope you know someone who can pay your bail if you try that.
@lunarandsunny If anything, umamusume fans are actually pretty unusual in how much they adore the actual animals and source material. At least by moe fan standards. But it's true that they're cute anime girls standing on the shoulders of a much more giant fandom. The horse rabbit hole goes deep
@lunarandsunny I received horse therapy as a child, due to a number of developmental issues I had. The two mares who looked after me were more understanding than most humans in my life at the time. (the 1980's were not a great time to be a neurodivergent kid)
@pixelmarshmallo Anyways, maybe not a bad thing to step away and collect yourself. That too is maturity your older self will look back on warmly. I promise I'll not let people ignore Inari One in any discourse I come across. She's one of my favorite umamusume. (I had anger management issues too)
@pixelmarshmallo ngl after seeing radfems be indoctrinated by anti-queer propaganda late 2010's because they shared a sex-negative banner, I'm usually skittish when I see people get mad about a character being sexualized. But you seem to be good at pushing back on very specific objectification.
@pixelmarshmallo Frustrating because I DO like to talk about characters and their bodies/designs. Inari's beautiful chest is absolutely part of her overall appeal. (along with her bushy pigtails, sharp eyebrows, her fox hand gestures...)
But god, don't talk about her like she's a cut of meat. 😔
@pixelmarshmallo Your brain be like "I have so much Inari One in it, I can't fit any more. Hm... but maybe. Do I need standardized shape recognition *that* badly?"
