Monument Bank targets November for £250M Midnight deposits

UK-regulated Monument has picked a Canadian custodian after months of delay. First phase: up to £250 million in interest-bearing retail deposits, tokenized on Midnight.

1:1 with pounds held at the bank. Redeemable in GBP. FSCS-covered. Customers stay in the Monument app no crypto to buy or manage.

Midnight sits behind the product as the privacy layer. Next: investments, then Lombard-style lending.
