@bjpeery @allysonshughes I hold pump in hand during patd. They see where the tubing goes to and I point it out and show it to them so thereʻs no fumbling questions. I refuse to unplug pump. Donʻt want to accidentally leave it behind or miss a drip of insulin during stressful travel.

@ThomasHGoffe @DiabetesSocMed Get listed and opt for K/P transplant from UCSF! Of course being immunosuppressed from transplant also has its costs and menu limitation challenges but it beats dialysis by a landslide (according to MDH!)

@ctr477 @deannatwit @type1christine perhaps it is a question to be left to each person who lives with said disease as to how they would choose to express it. The real reason which it isn’t grammatically capitalized surely makes sense to some and not to others.

“ Type1Diabetes “ bolder, easier to read, takes less space merits presence and recognition. you use what you feel best.
