Thank goodness two are leaving.
Collin’s didn’t have any decent rivals w primaries—> WTF @mainegop !?
And well… multi ranked choice is Alaska w their bs — Def need a contender running against Murkowski
My jaw dropped watching this
Dunkin Donuts employee “I had to make this coffee twice — he ordered a large iced coffee with 23 sugar, 12 mocha, 4 caramel, and 5 cream”
Because this is so insane I looked up how much sugar is in this one drink ordered by an American, it comes out to about 180+ grams of added sugar
Just for reference this is approximately 18 Krispy Kreme donuts in one drink
I am a firm believer we need a limit in America. There has to be a point where it’s illegal to put so much unhealthy ingredients in one item and sell it as food
We have to stop this and Make America Healthy Again
@flystl you need more quality vs quantity of the “traffic control” rent a whatevers and replace the racist attitudes trolling the people arriving and trying to get their ride at passenger pickup.
@SecDuffy
Absolutely true.
Was told this by my orthopedic doctor when I had cortisone shots in my feet years ago (from ballet as a kid with toe shoes and wearing heels for decades) that I shouldn’t do this again anytime soon and that it would cause more problems if repeated as it would degrade my tendons and joints and any cartilage.
This was before other options were available and now you have a few other options that may be more effective and worth considering vs cortisone.
I definitely recommend laser treatment over shots. ❤️
Dr David Morris exposes Cortisone shots are used a revenue generator by Big Pharma
He reveals they are a scam and “designed to fail”
“Here's something orthopedists know, but they're not gonna tell you. And yes, I'm being a little bit cynical here, but cortisone shots are designed to fail. Not by accident, they're designed that way.
When you get a cortisone injection, it works for a few weeks or a few months.
The pain goes away. You think it's healing, but cortisone doesn't heal anything. It's a powerful anti-inflammatory. That temporarily suppresses the pain signals.
Meanwhile, it's actively degrading, it's actively breaking down the tissue.
Look this up, don't take my word for it. Cartilage, tendons, ligaments actively being degraded. So when the cortisone wears off, your joint is actually worse than before.
The pain can come back stronger. What happens then?
Well, then your doctor gives you another shot. After 3 or 4 shots, the cartilage is so degraded that conservative treatment isn't working anymore. Now you're a surgical candidate. This is exactly what the business model requires. Your orthopedist isn't trying to heal your joint with cortisone.
He's buying time until you're bad enough to operate on, because that's when he gets paid the most. Again, I'm being cynical, I know that, but it's so frustrating to me”
Here’s what you should do
“Compare that to regenerative medicine. When we inject Wharton's jelly or PRP, platelet-rich plasma, we're triggering a healing response. Growth factors, cytokines, signaling molecules that tell your body to repair tissue and build new collagen.
It takes longer, it costs more upfront, but you're actually healing. We're not just masking symptoms while the problem accelerates towards surgery”
“So if your orthopedist recommends another cortisone shot, ask him, what's the plan after this stops working? Because if the answer is surgery, he's not treating you, he's preparing you”
He’s 100% right
Cortisone shots repeated use is linked to:
- Tissue degradation
- Cartilage thinning and accelerated osteoarthritis progression
- Tendon weakening or rupture
- Bone death, joint infection, skin atrophy, and faster joint deterioration
So what are the real treatment options? I found those too
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma): Uses your own blood’s concentrated growth factors to stimulate repair, collagen production, and reduce inflammation. Studies often show better long-term pain relief and function (6–12+ months) compared to cortisone, fewer risks of tissue breakdown
Wharton’s Jelly (Umbilical Cord MSCs): Contains mesenchymal stem cells, growth factors, and anti-inflammatory components from donated umbilical cords. Early evidence suggests it can help with pain, mobility, and tissue repair in joints
Our healthcare system isn’t about fixing you, it’s about long term customers and repeated treatments
Why are you such losers @SenThomTillis, @lisamurkowski, @SenMcConnell, and @SenatorCollins ???
Every single time you’re a roadblock when it matters.
Now, more than ever, this one thing matters more than most and you decide to say FU America we are closet liberal traitors.
Who are you truly loyal to? It’s definitely not America or Americans.
🚨 BREAKING: The US Senate has just REJECTED the SAVE America Act as part of budget reconciliation, 48-50 — would've required voter ID and proof of citizenship nationwide
REPUBLICAN NAYs: Thom Tillis, Lisa Murkowski, Mitch McConnell and Susan Collins
UNBELIEVABLE!!
It needed 60 votes.
Why can't the Senate pass what over 80% of Americans want?!
America needs healthcare reform
American “I just got a letter from UnitedHealthcare telling us that they're denying coverage for our twin's stay in the NICU”
“And if you thought that was inhumane, you're right. But listen to this: they didn't address it to me or my wife, you know, like human adults. They addressed the letter to the baby. Sadly, I guess it is appropriate that our preemie baby's first experience in the world is having its healthcare coverage denied”
This is not uncommon, UnitedHealthcare has the highest denial rates
- 33% initial in-network denial rate in recent federal data
- Highest denial rates among ALL major insurers
- Even in 2024 data, UHC showed 20% denial rates on ACA plans
- UHC had the highest denial rate at 12.8% of prior authorization requests in 2024
- They were in the middle of the Algorithmic denials controversy, with a 90% ‘error’ rate to deny
- Widespread reports of long hold times, language barriers, unhelpful reps and unresolved issues
We need to break up big insurance companies they have way to much power

Islam is a mental illness, a disease, a cult. Look at the way this abnormal, mentally ill Muslim woman acts because she sees two people kissing in Rome. I'm sorry folks, but this is not normal behavior. This is like not even normal behavior from 5,000 years ago. Wake up.
Ladies, if this was your skincare routine in the 80s, how are you doing now?
The Sea Breeze astringent could take the paint off the side of a boat, and that Apricot scrub took off layers of my skin that I'll never get back. And the Noxema? Like putting Vicks Vapo Rub on your face.
