Some days you get done with shift and wonder why you keep doing this, and other days confirm this is the only job you could possibly do.

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

After the tragic accident in Indiana this past week, I have something to say. I don’t care who you are, what you do, or what your excuse is, if you pass a school bus when you’re not supposed to I’m writing you every ticket I can think of.

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

@ohio_LEO Congrats man! Enjoy patrol!

[Shenanigans @ShenanigansFL]

Prayers for all my brothers and sisters at my former sheriff’s office in the Florida panhandle. Hurricane Michael is coming in hot

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

I’ll never understand how someone can leave another person who’s overdosing, not help them, then call 8 hours later to say they think someone overdosed last night.

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

30 years on the job. 💔

[Meg Kinnard @MegKinnardAP]

UPDATE: City of Florence spokesman John Wukela tells me that Terrence Carraway is the officer who died from his injuries. He had just received his 30-year service pin from the department.

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

@K9Falo Lmao!

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

I have a theory that dog shit was scientifically designed to stick to patrol boots.

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

💔

[JaneDoughnut @doughnut_jane]

If you’re the kind of cop that has to run to a boss for a closed door meeting over every issue or perceived issue w/ another cop, better believe we notice. Come talk to us face to face or have a boss mediate. You have to communicate in this job. With the public and w/each other.

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

Literally never fails. As soon as I put on a clean uniform I get blood, sweat, or infuse it with cigarette smoke.

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

@OfficerRyker @ChiefGoodmanCPD We’re lucky, we get to pick our days off (based on seniority) and we usually get 2-3 weekends offf every six weeks

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

When sarge doesn’t assign you the creepy ride along.

[Rookie City Det. Sergeant @RookieCityCop]

"What do you listen to in the squad car?"

Taylor Swift on Top 40 radio.

Any officer who says they don't is a lying sack of shit.

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

RIP Senator.

[CNN Breaking News @cnnbrk]

Sen. John McCain is dead at age 81. The Vietnam war hero turned warrior politician was diagnosed with brain cancer last summer. https://t.co/dwqfVC9A9a

[Sh*t Rookies Say @RookieQuotes]

“I’ve convinced a #rookie ‘frosty bois’ is street slang for ‘cops’.”

RT to raise awareness. #FrostyBois

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

Well, after an 8 month hiatus, I’m back to report the fuckery I see and participate in on a daily basis.

[Ryk @OfficerRyker]

Just like every other city we have a very high homeless population. It’s rage inducing when you spot an officer from several cities over “dump” a transient once they cross into our city limit because all I can do is watch it happen.

[BluTeam @MidwestCop]

@OfficerRyker @BlondeinKevlar For sake of everything holy... why are they so afraid to go hands on after he drops the weapon.
