@tastiestofnoms Our friends (parents of tweens) often invite us over for a backyard hang. 80% of the time, their kids have friends over at the same time. I don’t know those kids’ parents and they don’t know us. And literally no one gives a shit, because why on earth would we?

@tastiestofnoms My brother lived at Lothlorien in the 90s (I even attended my first “college” party there at age 15 🤣). IIRC the shared meal plan was optional, but I get that if your communal living setup includes food costs you would be expected to participate in a few group meals
