@jrkdenison @MichaelDugher Exactly this. I want VAT on private healthcare next to ensure those who don’t use the NHS don’t benefit, plus 20% VAT on children’s clothes so those with children don’t benefit, increase VAT on fuel etc, etc….

@DanNeidle I paid in advance for 4 1/2 years back in March. The potential for retrospective VAT was explained. It is non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances. By paying in advance I’ve avoided the 7% increase in fees that came in for the summer term.
