Idk I think if you’re gonna boycott then boycott. Not playing the game for some random summer week unless that week is something significant idk just to then a week later buy and play the hell out of one of their console exclusives does nothing/barely sends a message. Especially if most the ppl boycotting will be the ones buying/playing the game digitally at that. Not to mention the content creators taking part to then just a week later milk wolverine for content and hyping it up. If anything that just says “oh they’ll come around, just wait it out” imo people need to genuinely speak with their wallets not just some social media blackout trend for a couple days send a real message

I don’t see the point of the week like I’m all for the movement but then Wolverine releases a week or 2 later and most of these ppl plus however many others will be playing that, the content creators involved in this movement will also be playing it milking it for content promoting the game etc. if you’re going to boycott boycott speak with your wallets genuinely. I don’t see the point when Wolverine comes out a week or 2 later I forget the date. Most of them will just hop right on there anyway, content creators that “boycotted” will milk the game for content and hype it up leading to extra sales. If anything it’ll just show Sony “just hold out, they’ll come around”. If you’re going to boycott then boycott send a real message speak with your wallets. A random 7 day boycott on a random summer week won’t do much
