True fact: @thedavidcrosby, who I much miss, is still getting me high from the grave. He gave me a bag of (excellent!) weed just after Thanksgiving. A bystander saw him do it, too, and I said, "You realize that guy's gonna be telling his grandchildren about this?" [📸@henrydiltz]
If you don’t write it down, it didn’t happen.” — Words of wisdom about art + inspiration from @thedavidcrosby. BTS video I shot of a special @weedandgrub episode...Miss you, Mighty Croz! Peep the video here: https://t.co/kKoy7T20fe
Here are some facts about "Ripple" you probably didn't know!
Robert Hunter wrote this song in 1970 in London on the same afternoon he wrote "Brokedown Palace" and "To Lay Me Down."
Rest in power @thedavidcrosby. American icon and a true supporter of marijuana legalization. He joined NORML’s advisory board after decades of personal advocacy. Thanks for the tunes and your passion for cannabis freedom. You’ll be greatly missed. https://t.co/LcxwhUO8kT
Our condolences on the passing of David Crosby, legendary entertainer and advocate of the cannabis industry.
We had the privilege to sit down with David in 2020 to chat his hopes for legalization, decriminalization, and the role that cannabis has played in his career.
Remembering my experience interviewing the great @thedavidcrosby for @702VCM back in 2019. Stephanie Shehan, @gravityamp and I, crammed into a small office on FaceTime with Croz from his hotel room on tour, as he spoke to us at length about cannabis & music ✌️
@MKMcDaniels1 I miss the “Master of Joint rolling Judges” and his comical comments about some of the submissions. Of course, so much more than that, but you know what I mean. Genius. Loss. Sad. But I’ll always smile when I hear his music. ✌️
Beyond words, my sadness at saying goodbye to my dear friend. David’s brilliance and uniqueness as a singer, songwriter and guitarist will always set him apart and among the very best. There was no one like him, on or off stage.
