Replacing Dan Jarvis, an ex parachute regiment Major in the British army.

Streeting failed to reach a negotiated settlement with junior doctors and now has to deal with Pete Hegesth and NATO.

Call me cynical but he’s already out of his depth.

I did a module in citizens advice Newcastle for my law degree and I had to tell White British people to their faces they couldn’t be housed, I had some paranoid schizophrenic suicidal woman looking for a place to stay and I had to tell there was nothing we could do.

But when we had refugees coming in my manager would tell me there’s a number they can call to get housed by the night. I also had an illegal who came here for the NHS trying to get moved up the housing band.

Until every illegal is deported we will still have a homeless problem because white homeless are at the bottom of the barrel

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong, Burnham has appointed:

- a Housing Secretary who “resigned” in disgrace from the same job because she couldn’t even pay the correct stamp duty on her 2nd house

- a previously sacked convicted fraudster who will be in charge of ethics in the Cabinet Office

- a Business Secretary that had to apologise to parliament over misleading CV statements

- a Chancellor who couldn’t count how many frigates we had in our fleet when he was defence secretary

- a Defence Secretary with no military experience (despite multiple ex-servicemen available)

So much for the “hope” vibes.
