I am disabled and have a number of F7C027(UK) switches for various things. In the past these all worked with "local access". I have no want or need of remote access. At some point Belkin insisted on an account to use them. Can I still use these locally after Jan 2026?

@WeAreOpenreach Hi there. I have FTTP through an old ECI ONT. Trying to upgrade to gigabit+ speeds. Currently had my service ceased from ISP, but ONT still appears to be synced. ISPs can't order above 330Mbps. Need the ONT swapping for a Nokia. Currently without service! Help?

@WeAreOpenreach Thank you. If I click on the Send us a private message link, I see no option to connect to openreach help, I just see a message window. I'm using a browser, if that makes a difference, not the app.

@WeAreOpenreach By the way, the info I'm giving about the ECI ONT is from other Openreach engineers. Engineers from my area who have the same issue, and can't upgrade >330Mbps. my FTTP was installed 10 years ago, ECI is no longer used. This is my issue. If you can't help, fair enough.

@WeAreOpenreach OK. From what I've read, ECI ONTs only support up to 330Mbps, so ISPs can only order up to 330Mbps while these ONTs are active at a property, which is why I had service ceased. Postcode TR13 8AR, numbers 120, 118, for example. ISPs cannot order >330Mbps for me.

@WeAreOpenreach Also, just to be clear, line checkers, such as the Openreach line checker show 1.8Gbps available at my property, but ISPs can only order up to 330Mbps. They cannot actually order speeds above that. Not only me affected, family members have changed ISPs, and found same issue.

@WeAreOpenreach All neighbours can receive gigabit+ speeds. The issue is I have an old ECI ONT. Gigabit has been available over four years here. ISPs can't order >330mbps due to ECI ONT registered to this address. Service is ceased, but I'm not sure how to proceed?

@nvidiacc Just a note of a small bug/issue. Since updating to 565.90 some of my settings are reset after reboot, such as Digital Vibrance in Colour Settings. Wasn't an issue before 565.90. Running Win11 Pro and an RTX4090.

@realDan203 Of course, I fully understand. It just seemed as though they've pulled the plug on it (and left users in the lurch, but for you). This is why I hate online activation. Perhaps in the future she'll allow a keygen, or final modded installer with activation removed. A Freeware copy

@realDan203 Hey Dan,I can only say thank you SO much. I realise this isn't your job, any more. My heart sank when I realised I couldn't activate on my new PC. I don't use VRD daily, but it's INVALUABLE when I do need it. Thanks for your kind efforts. I even tried the Waybackmachine link! ;)

@cccheepcheep @WorcsBoschCare Same here. I have the app on both an iPhone and an iPad. Both have the same issue. I deleted and reinstalled the app. After signing in with my BoschID and selecting thermostat, I get the Cannot Connect error again. Why doesn't this just connect via LAN? Shouldn't need internet!
